Archive for July, 2011

Cupertino games annual event on the 16th of July was full of fun filled exciting games that I hadn’t participated in a long time. It brought a feeling of nostalgia and memories of endless summer hours spent playing these games with friends.

We started off with Dog and the Bone followed by Lagori, Dumb Charades, and many other games!  There was a lot of running and falling (a lot of falling – at least for me!!); and it made feel like a kid again.

Since I was new to the team, I finally got to meet Kaushik, Jalaja, Gayatri and others, with whom I had only communicated via email before the event. It was a great time to meet everyone in the Janyaa team.

We couldn’t have asked for a better day as it was a perfect temperature in the mid 70s and though it was fairly warm, the sun was veiled by clouds at times to give us much wanted relief from the heat. Mother Nature was cooperating in helping us with this wonderful cause with a blend of warmth and cool breeze to keep us going throughout the event.

It was a fun event and looking forward to more in the future.  Kudos to all in Janyaa to make this event happen!!

A big thank you to all the supporters of Janyaa for joining in this Summer event. We are hoping to see you again and many of your friends in our forthcoming events.
